Our minister
The Scots Kirk Paris is currently vacant. There will be no interruption as regards Sunday morning services as we will be welcoming a number of locums over the coming months. Go to Our Services for more details.
Locums can be contacted at [email protected] and on 07 64 82 58 53
The Kirk Session
The Kirk Session, which comprises the elders and the minister, is responsible for the care, encouragement and spiritual guidance of the congregation. The SKP Kirk Session meets monthly to discuss worship, pastoral care and the general wellbeing of the church members. The session clerk, Dorothy Mure, is responsible for helping the minister draw up the agenda, calling the meeting, taking the minutes and following up on any correspondence required. Since we are a small congregation, she is also the point of contact ([email protected]) for a host of other matters! |

The Board
The Board comprises the elders plus additional elected members and deals with financial and property matters. It ensures that the manse and church building are kept in good condition and arranges for repairs to be carried out. One very important member of our Board is the Congregational Treasurer. Douglas Anderson manages the SKP's finances and keeps the Board and Session aware of the church's financial situation.
