Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Scots Kirk in Paris.
We are a community of everyday people from all walks of life, in a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.
Whether it’s your first time at church or you have been going to church for years, our Sunday gatherings are a welcoming place for you to worship God with others.
Community makes life better and reminds us that we cannot do life alone.
This site gives a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse.
To fully understand us, come to a worship service and enjoy the personal fellowship that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present.
Enjoy the website, then come. We’d love to meet you and get to know you.

The Scots Kirk Paris was officially "preached into vacancy" by our Interim Moderator, Rev. Laurence Twaddle, minister of the Church of Scotland in Geneva, on Sunday 28th February. Services will be continuing at the SKP as usual during the vacancy period thanks to Laurence who has been working hard to arrange an illustrious line-up of locums. Click here for up-to-date information on who will be preaching in any given month.
This is a challenging but exciting time for us as we look forward to welcoming new faces and enjoying different styles of worship.

June's services will be taken by the Very Rev. Albert Bogle. Albert studied at Glasgow and Edinburgh University. He was a parish minister at St Andrew’s Church of Scotland Bo’ness for over 30 years, leading a multidisciplinary team of creative people working to effect transformation in communities at a local national and international level. Much of Albert’s ministry has been developing and exploring mission in response to a changing culture. He has been a member of various General Assembly Boards and Committees including Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland 2012/13. He is chairman and founder of the Vine Trust. In April 2016 Albert was appointed by the Presbytery of Falkirk as pioneering minister of Sanctuary First. In 2022 the Faith Nurture Forum appointed him as Advisor in Digital Ministries. Sanctuary First transitioned from being a project of Falkirk Presbytery to being a SCIO within the governance of the Faith Nurture Forum. Albert is married to Martha and they have two married children and four wonderful grandchildren.
Albert can be contacted for pastoral matters at scotskirkparis@orange.fr or on 01 48 78 47 94.
